57METAL
Offices, Intern

Boulogne-Billancourt
France

All projects on this page are the property of Dominique Perrault Architecture.

57Metal is a refurbishment project of a heritage building designed by Claude Vasconi, transitioning from automobile workshop, to offices.

At this point in time I was an intern, and produced a number of iterations of the parking level plan, and certain office levels, each time the structure had to move. So I designed dynamic blocks in CAD which helped me do that with more flexibility.

I also learned to use Rhinoceros with this project, building the entire 3D of the complex steel building, from plans and many, many sections.

COPA CAGRANA
Masterplan, Intern

Vienna
Austria

This urban project was designed by a small team, two young architects and me. In this team, I felt less like an intern and more like an architect.

We worked on this proposal for about 3 months, using elements from Dominique Perrault’s Groundscape research to connect monumental plazas to the water level.
